A leading telecoms provider and a Dorset based charity are leading the field with a new way for businesses to save money and to donate money to charity.
Swains Voice and data plc have teamed up with leading Children’s’ and Animals charity The Murry Foundation in what is believed to be a first in the UK.

The partnership allows Swains to provide telecoms solutions to businesses, helping them to save money and at the same time become better ‘corporate citizens’ and donate money to charity to help with projects in the UK and around the world.

Adam Murry is chairman of The Murry Foundation and said, “ This is an exciting new venture for us and we are pleased to be working with such a reputable company as Swains. This is a great way for companies to beat the credit crunch, save money but also make sure that charities don’t suffer by losing out on vital donations.”

Swains, in partnership with their channel partner Town and Country Communications, will provide a free analysis to customers to identify potential cost and admin savings if they transfer to the Swains/Murry Foundation tariff and then donate 5% of their monthly invoice value to charity.

Swains Business Development Manager is Barry Ward, he said, “ We are really proud to be working with this leading charity and to have come up with what we believe is an industry first. It means that our customers can make high quality calls through the systems and service we supply knowing they are saving money but also providing funds for the necessary work The Murry Foundation is doing at home and abroad. It’s a win win for everyone.”

Nigel Butler, MD of Town and Country Communications said of the new partnership, “Town & Country Communications and the association with the Murry Foundation allows a better life for all that the Murry Foundation stands for and pay something back to support less fortunate persons and animals in the world”

To kick off the new partnership at a recent charity ball, Swains presented The Murray Foundation with a cheque for £5000 to start the donation ball rolling.
