Laura Lian is a professional ‘listed’ artist having sold at Christie’s auction House. Her speciality is sculpture though she is now doing a series of ‘Dream’ paintings to raise awareness to the plight of endangered species.
Her commissions are diverse, from portraits with the likes of Gareth Chillcott to an impressive bas-relief panel for the Dorchester Hotel’s Health club reception in London.

Competitions won are A metal Relief Sculpture for The Royal Glamorgan Hospital in South Wales and a Themed parapet and gate design/Black Dog Halt for North Wiltshire County Council.
She has been presented to HRH Princess Royal for her work on ‘The Millennium Bridge project in Melksham, Wiltshire.

Her metal fibre optics work can be found in public houses at The Ledger Pub in London and Wilmslow, Manchester.
She recently done 3 series of a Portrait sculptures of one of her icon idols, John Lennon
‘ Someone who inspired me with a focus for Peace’. The first series having been shown at The Beatles Museum in Liverpool.

Her Queen Mother Portrait Sculpture was placed at the Royal West of England Academy Show in Bristol autumn 2002.
She contributes her bronzes to charity auctions and has achieved at top price of £22,000.00 for Nordoff Robbins who commissioned her to do a relief portrait sculpture of U2, which was signed by the band and won and bought by Dermot Desmond. Her John Lennon bronze sculpture in NY tee-shirt sold for £9,500.00 to Sharon Osbourne at Nordoff Robbins charity event last year.
