LMP – Love, Motivation and Planning?

LMP – Love, Motivation and Planning?

It didn’t take long for Kelly-Anne Morgan and Emma van Lindholm to offer their event managing services to help fund the increasing projects undertaken by The Murry Foundation. It also, didn’t take long to realize that these capable young women were doing a very good job, demonstrating a tenacity and professionalism that will undoubtedly achieve them many great successes. The fashion show, the brain child of LMP, was planned several months previously and commenced on April 24th with a capacity audience of over 400 people.

The models, both male and female did a fantastic job and looked great in the perfectly selected outfits. During an interval, the guests watched a recent interview with Adam Murry by The Bournemouth Echo. This was the first time Adam had offered this opportunity to invite the media into his home to explain his passion, drive and motivation.

As the runway show came to an end. Guests chatted amongst themselves until the auction began. The auction featured a wide range of sporting memorabilia and treats for the female members of the audience along with one very special prize. Adam Murry offered the chance to be flown to South Africa to visit the thousands of rescued animals. The lucky winner would also visit the sites of the orphan projects and take part in a breathtaking game safari and champagne balloon ride across the 6000 hectares of land, acquired by The Murry Foundation. This prize, never offered before, was bid for in a silent auction. The results of which will be announced on the 1st May.

A total of over £10,000 was raised to support the continuing efforts of The Murry Foundation in South Africa. The Foundation has now secured land to develop an orphanage for disadvantaged children. The winner of the special auction prize will have the opportunity to visit the site and review the plans for this development. The Murry Foundation believes it is necessary to ensure that its supporters are acutely aware of how their donations are used. Support requires loyalty and belief – this is their opportunity to experience first-hand, the crucial nature of the foundation’s work.

Benefit, House of Fraser, Karen Millen, Zara, Planet and Essensuals kindly donated their time, clothes and services to make the show a sterling success.

The Murry Foundation would like to thank LMP, most notably Kelly and Emma for their hard work and dedication and also Terry and Freda Baker from A1 Sporting Speakers for their kind donations of time and memorabilia.
